The Heritage Trail could be Iowa's most scenic trail. Its 26

wind through high bluffs, many river overlooks, and
rugged
woodlands. Even though the Heritage Trail runs through some
picturesque
countryside, the steepest grade never rises above 1
percent. The
northeast end of the trail is eventually supposed
to
go all the way into
