The Wild Goose Trail is the ornithologist's haven. The majority
of the trail runs by two wildlife refuge areas where thousands
of birds live, and migratory waterfowl stop at on their annual
flight south. The trail runs from Fond Du Lac to highway 60,
which is 4 miles south of Juneau. The total mileage is 34 miles.
The parallel horse path from highway 60 to Minnesota Junction
is 7½ miles long.
